Lovely Lavender

We live on a small parcel of land that is surrounded by a very large one. And this large holding is owned by the most lovely couple.

Everything about them is lovely - from their home, to their landscaping, to their stewardship of the land.

And on one lovely afternoon in July, they invited us over to pick lavender and have freshly squeezed limeade, and it was quite simply the perfect afternoon.

One might even say, it was lovely.
